Sileng Hu obtained his Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology in 2020, under the supervision of Professor Sun Licheng.
From July 2020 to July 2022, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels@Westlake University, with Dr. Zhang Biaobiao and Professor Sun Licheng as his collaborating supervisors.
From July 2022 to July 2025, he served as an Assistant Researcher at Sun Licheng's Laboratory, Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels.
Research Direction: The development and construction of transition metal molecular material catalysts for high-efficiency electrocatalytic water splitting systems, as well as proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers.
