From August 2nd to 4th, 2024, the 4th China Science Materials Innovation Forum, jointly organized by the Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels at Westlake University in collaboration with the Editorial Office of Science China Materials and the School of Science of Westlake University, was successfully held at the Yungu Campus of Westlake University. The China Science Materials Innovation Forum is a flagship academic event established by the Editorial Committee of Science China Materials. This year’s forum, themed “AI for Energy Materials,” invited renowned domestic scholars working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and materials science. The event featured various formats, including academic presentations, roundtable discussions, and poster sessions. During the forum, Hangzhou recorded a historic high temperature of 41.9°C. However, the enthusiasm of the participants was even more intense than the weather. Over a hundred attendees gathered at the venue to exchange the latest research findings and explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in the field of energy materials.
