On June 19th, 2024, a delegation of 15 foreign consuls general and consular officials stationed in Macao and Hong Kong, organized by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao SAR, visited the Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels at the School of Science of Westlake University for an inspection tour. The delegation attentively listened to an introduction by Academician SUN Licheng, Chair Professor of Westlake University and Director of the Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels, regarding the establishment and latest research progress of the center, and toured the center's laboratories. During the visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with Professor SUN Licheng, Director of the center, on global climate change and opportunities in new energy development, and explored prospects for cooperation in the fields of solar energy conversion and catalysis. The delegation expressed keen interest in the center's research directions and voiced strong willingness to engage in international scientific collaborations with Westlake University.
