On August 11th, 2021, Jinbiao Chen, Standing Committee Member of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of the Provincial Government, accompanied by Academician Yigong Shi, President of Westlake University, visited the Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels at Westlake University for an inspection and research tour. He attentively listened to an introduction by Academician Licheng Sun, Chair Professor of Westlake University and Director of the Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels, regarding the establishment of the center and its research progress, and toured the laboratories. During the visit, Governor Jinbiao Chen engaged in in-depth discussions with President Yigong Shi and Professor Licheng Sun, Director of the center, on the importance of the renewable energy sector in building Zhejiang Province into a Demonstration Zone for Common Prosperity, as well as the future development of the center.
