Prof. Biaobiao Zhang's group inthe Department of Chemistry at Westlake University recently piblished a research paper in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. The paper is titled "Sub-4 nm Ru-RuO2 Schottky Nanojunction as a Catalyst for Durable Acidic Water Oxidation"
The research reported a sub-4 nm Ru-RuO2 Schottky nanojunction prepared by a microwave reaction that exhibits high activity and long-term stability in both three-electrode systems and PEM devices. The reaction mechanism was analyzed by density funcional theory calculations.
Ph.D. student Yuxiang Song from Westlake University and Dr. Wanghui Zhao, assistant research fellow at the Center for Artificial Photosynthesis and Solar Fuels, are the co-first authors. Prof. Biaobiao Zhang, Tao Wang from Westlake University, and Yihan Zhu from Zhejiang University of Technology are the corresponding authors.
